How PhotoSaver handles images, account details, and information used by its online features.

Last updated: 2026-10-05

About this policy

PhotoSaver provides a standalone website editor. The browser plugin has not been published yet. The website editor can be used without installing a plugin or creating an account. This policy explains what happens in the local editing workflow and how separate online features may handle information.

Images in the website editor

When you open a file or paste an image, editing and export are performed in your browser using the Canvas API. Those local images are not uploaded to PhotoSaver or added to a cloud project.

If you import an image by URL, PhotoSaver receives the URL and temporarily retrieves the image so the browser can read it despite cross-origin restrictions. The image bytes are returned to your browser and are not saved to your account or PhotoSaver storage. The source host receives a request from PhotoSaver's server. URL imports accept direct public image files; private network addresses, web pages, and protected images are not supported.

Accounts and online features

Creating an account, making a purchase, or using an online AI feature is separate from local editing. When you choose one of those features, PhotoSaver and the service providers needed to deliver it may process information such as your account details, transaction records, usage data, prompts, or the image you submit. Payment details are handled by the payment provider shown during checkout. An AI request sends the selected image and instructions to the provider identified for that feature.

The details shown when you use an online feature, together with the relevant provider's terms and privacy information, apply to that operation. Do not submit an image or other information unless you are comfortable with that processing.

Site operation and sharing

The website host receives the network information needed to deliver pages and protect the service. Account, preference, and payment flows may use cookies or similar browser storage where required for those features.

PhotoSaver does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers that operate an enabled feature, or when disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect users and the service.

Your choices

You can use the editor without signing in. Open a local file or paste from the clipboard if you do not want an image to pass through PhotoSaver for URL retrieval. Do not submit an image to an online AI feature if you do not want it sent to that feature's provider. Where account controls are available, use them to review or manage account information.
